Antispam Scanner Full Description

Let's face it - spam is a 14 billion dollar a year problem that is not going away any time soon. Modern anti-spam solution do very little to help businesses and individuals with this problem. The most advanced applications that use heuristics and boast a 99% spam exclusion rate don't mention that up to 13% of valid correspondence is lost in the process. In addition, all "professional" spammers have research departments that make sure their messages pass most filters and fool popular spam fighting solutions, before they start their campaigns. There is only one solution that they can't trick - Antispam Scanner. Why? Antispam Scanner is not a spam filter! Rather, it's a proactive antispam agent that launches pre-emptive strikes. It does not matter what e-mail client you use. After the program is set up, Antispam Scanner connects to your mailbox and purges it free from spam right on the server. This way you don't have to download messages first. After the program "kills" all obvious spam and viruses, it processes the rest of the messages. First, it searches for the messages that meet the white list criteria. These are not just the ones from the people you know. White list triggers may be certain keywords, like the names of products that are being sold in your web shop (Golf ball, HTML-2-RTF Pro, Presario, etc) or a typical subject line (Re: pet adoption, for example). These are delivered to your mailbox. The rest of the messages will be parked in the "yellow zone". These are suspicious e-mails that may nevertheless be valid, like e-coupons or newsletters. In most instances, you can simply look at the address and the subject line to see if it's spam or not. Since the message (and attachments) parked in the "yellow zone" are not downloaded without your consent, you don't risk getting infected with a virus or spyware. This solution is especially helpful for web businesses and organizations, because it's the only way to stop spam, without any risks!
